Breathe to the Beat Community CPR Terms and Conditions Agreement

Welcome to Breathe to the Beat Community CPR!

By accessing and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read this agreement carefully before engaging with our CPR, AED, or First Aid training services.

1) Services:

Breathe to the Beat Community CPR, LLC provides CPR, AED training and related first aid courses to individuals and organizations. Our courses follow the American Red Cross curriculum, and are designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to respond effectively to first aid emergencies.

2) Eligibility:

You must be at least 18 years old to participate in our CPR, AED, and First Aid training courses. If you are under 18, you must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian before enrolling in our services.

3) Registration and Payment:

a. Registration: To enroll in our CPR, AED, or First Aid training courses, you must complete the registration process and provide accurate and up-to-date information about yourself.

b. Payment: Payment for our services is required at the time of registration unless a different agreement is mutually accepted by the participant/participant agency and Breathe with the Beat Community CPR. We accept various payment methods, and all fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.

4) Certification:

Upon successful completion of the training course, participants will be issued a certificate via email, valid for the specified duration. Participants are responsible for keeping their certification up to date and ensuring it complies with relevant regulations and requirements. B2B can send a reminder email and/or text to the participant 60 days before certificate expires with participant permission.

6) Code of Conduct:

Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner during the training sessions. We strive to provide an inclusive learning environment for all.  Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate expulsion from the course without a refund!

7) Liability and Disclaimer:

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, Breathe to the Beat Community CPR and its participants acknowledge that CPR , AED, and First Aid training is not a substitute for professional medical care and agree to use the acquired skills responsibly and within the scope of their abilities. Under the best of circumstances, these skills are not guaranteed to save lives. Our goal is to provide the latest information from the American Red Cross Scientific Advisory Council, who are the leading experts in emergency science. This panel of over fifty members are responsible for keeping courses up to date with the latest life-saving skills and facts. 8) Intellectual Property:

All materials and content provided during the training sessions, including but not limited to course manuals, presentations, and videos, are the property of the American Red Cross, and are protected by intellectual property laws. Participants are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, or share these materials without prior written consent. Breathe to the Beat Community CPR will add anecdotal context, as well as use various teaching methods to connect with participants’ learning styles.

9) Modification of Terms:

Breathe to the Beat Community CPR reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website or notifying participants through other means. It is your responsibility to review these Terms regularly for any updates.

10) Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the City of Somerville and the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the City of Somerville and the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

By enrolling in our CPR, AED, and First Aid training courses, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with the registration process or attend our training sessions.
